In Marib Two Citizens Wounded By Saudi-led Remnants Explosion
Two citizens were killed and another was injured by explosions the aggression remnants in Hodeida, Amanat Al Asimah and Marib province.
The Executive Center for Mine Action stated in a statement – received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) – that two citizens were killed in Al-Hali district in Al-Hodeida, and Azal district in Amanat Al-Asimah, while a citizen was injured in Harib district in Marib, in the explosion of objects left behind by the aggression.
The statement pointed to victims’ increasing number of the aggression remnants in the provinces. As a result of the widespread pollution with these remnants, stressing the importance of supporting business activities related to the removal of various war remnants, which is considered an essential contribution and has a humanitarian impact in saving the lives of citizens.
The statement also denounced the continued disregard of the United Nations for such support for the introduction of detectors for waste removal, pointing out that a year has passed since the Center received a notification from the United Nations that it is working to obtain approval from the aggression coalition against Yemen to enter waste detectors.
