Entesaf Organization launches A report Entitled “False Laws and Violated Rights”
Today, the Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights launched a human rights report entitled “False Laws and Violated Rights” in conjunction with the world’s celebration of International Human Rights Day, which falls on December 10.
The report addressed the catastrophic and tragic conditions that children and women have been living in in Yemen for nearly nine years as a result of the aggression and siege, and in Palestine as a result of the Zionist occupation’s aggression against Gaza.
The report indicated that both the coalition of aggression against Yemen and the Zionist occupation’s aggression against Gaza committed the most heinous massacres against civilians, in particular children and women, in a serious and unprecedented violation of human rights in general and the rights of children and women in particular, which calls for investigating these violations and bringing their perpetrators to justice instead. From the deafening silence practiced by the United Nations and major powers.
It reported that since the start of the aggression against Yemen on March 26, 2015 until December 9, 2023, eight thousand and 316 children were killed and wounded, including three thousand and 949 dead, in addition to five thousand and 489 women killed and wounded, including two thousand and 477 dead.
The report stated that the number of victims of the American-Zionist aggression against Gaza, since October 7, 2023, has reached more than 17,177 civilians, including seven thousand, 729 children and five thousand and 135 women, according to the latest statistics issued by the Government Information Office in Palestine on December 8, 2023. The number of wounded rose to 46,000, more than 70% of whom were children and women, while thousands were still under the rubble.
Also provided figures for the aggression against Yemen targeting schools, educational and health facilities, those affected by the sick, people with disabilities, displaced persons, those who dropped out of education, and those suffering from chronic diseases and malnutrition.
It touched on the American Zionist aggression’s destruction of mosques, homes, churches, health facilities and hospitals in Gaza, its prevention of food and medicine from reaching the Strip, and the risks faced by the displaced as a result of the spread of epidemics and diseases and the lack of access to food.
It pointed out that these organizations were complicit in everything that happened against the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples and took a shameful stance in the face of all the crimes committed in Yemen and Gaza by the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition and the Zionist occupation.
The report called for an end to the aggression and siege against Yemen and Palestine, especially Gaza, and the formation of an impartial international investigation committee to investigate all crimes and massacres committed in the two countries.
