16 martyrs, dozens of wounded on the 124th day of Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip

16 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured on Wednesday in the ongoing aggression launched by the Israeli occupation on the war-ravaged Gaza Strip for the 124th day in a row.

Wafa news agency reported that the occupation aircraft bombed al-Zohour neighborhood and the western and eastern areas of Rafah city, southern Gaza Strip, which led to the martyrdom of 14 Palestinians and dozens of injuries, while the occupation boats targeted the coast of the city.

Two Palestinians were martyred and others were wounded by Israeli snipers in al-Rimal area south of Gaza City and in the vicinity of Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

The occupation also shelled the Qizan al-Najjar area and several areas in Khan Yunis with aircraft and artillery and destroyed a number of residential blocks.

In the same context, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) warned of the occupation invasion of Rafah, saying that any move by Israel to expand its comprehensive invasion of the Gaza Strip to include the densely populated city of Rafah may lead to war crimes that must be prevented by all means.
