“Report on the Targeting of the Imam al-Hadi Mosque.”
Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights issued a human rights report entitled “Report on the Targeting of the Imam al-Hadi Mosque.”
The report dealt with the crime of artillery shelling by the aggression coalition on the Imam al-Hadi Mosque and shrine in the Bab al-Yemen area in the city of Saada in Saada Governorate, which claimed the lives of civilians, including women and children, on 9 May 2015.
It talked about the details of the crime and witness statements, also talked about the legal framework of the crime in accordance with international laws and conventions.
The report was based on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims. It also relied on interviews conducted with witnesses. Reference was made to international texts of law, treaties and agreements in order to Clarifying the legal framework for the crime committed against women and children in the Bab al-Yemen area.
