Children in Gaza Strip pay highest price for ongoing Israeli aggression, UNRWA says

The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said children in Gaza Strip are the ones paying highest price of the ongoing extermination war committed by Israeli occupation for 292nd day in a row.

UNRWA Agency said in a post on “X” platform Wednesday, quoted by Wafa Agency that the children are paying the highest price for the war in Gaza, amid displacement and fear of losing their childhood, asserting that children in Gaza must be able to live their childhood normally.

In this context, agency indicated that its staff continue to provide psychological, social and recreational activities to give children in Gaza Strip a sense of normalcy as much as possible.

On July 12th, UNRWA warned that Gaza is on the verge of losing an entire generation of children if this war continues, as the Agency Commissioner-General, Philippe Lazzarini, stressed in June that Gaza’s children are dying from malnutrition and dehydration.
