“Report on Targeting Fishermen’s Boats”

Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights issued a human rights report entitled “Report on Targeting Fishermen’s Boats”, which addressed the crime of the aggression coalition’s air force bombing fishermen’s boats off the island of Al-Sawabea in the Mina Directorate of Al-Hodeidah Governorate, which claimed the lives of civilians, including women and children, on July 25, 2018.

It discussed the details of the crime and witness statements, as well as the legal framework of the crime according to international laws and conventions. The report was based on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims, and relied on interviews conducted with witnesses. International law texts, treaties and agreements were referred to in order to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against the women and children of Al-Sawabea Island.
