Entesaf Organization issues a human rights report entitled “Wajia Saroukh”

Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights issued a human rights report entitled “Wajia Saroukh”, in which the report addressed the crime of the explosion of a cluster bomb from the remnants of the aggression coalition’s aircraft, in the house of citizen Riyad Muhammad Naji Naaman in the Al-Rukab area in the At-Taiziyah district of Taiz Governorate, which claimed the lives of civilians, including women and children, on January 27, 2018.

It discussed the details of the crime and witness statements, as well as the legal framework of the crime according to international laws and conventions. The report was based on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims, and relied on interviews conducted with witnesses. International law texts, treaties and agreements were referred to in order to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against women and children in the Al-Rukab area.
