Humanitarian corridors in Mariupol, Volnovakha to be open, Donetsk Republic announces
The Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) has announced that Humanitarian corridors in Mariupol and Volnovakha will open again on Sunday morning.
“In the morning, the humanitarian corridors will open again both in Mariupol and Volnovakha. We still hope that the Ukrainian commanders will command to unblock the exit from the populated localities so that civilians would be able to leave these populated localities,” Deputy Head of the People’s Militia of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Eduard Basurin was cited by Sputnik Agency as saying.
It is noteworthy that the cities of Mariupol and Volnovakha have been witnessing a humanitarian disaster due to lack of water, electricity and food, and because of preventing civilians from leaving and using them as human shields by the Ukrainian armed groups.
