“Sana’a Will Remain, Even If We Kill”

In a human rights report titled “Sana’a Will Remain, Even If We Kill,” the Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights documented the bombing of civilian homes in the Al-Qasimi neighborhood of the Old Sana’a District, affiliated with the capital, by coalition aircraft on June 12, 2015. Civilians, including women and children, were killed in the bombing.

The report detailed the crime and witness testimonies, and also discussed the legal framework of the crime according to international laws and conventions. The report relied on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims, as well as interviews conducted with witnesses. International law, treaties, and agreements were also consulted to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against the women and children of the Al-Qasimi neighborhood.
