“Catastrophe Camps”
Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights documented a human rights report titled “Catastrophe Camps.” The report addressed the bombing by the coalition’s air force on internally displaced persons (IDP) camps in the Al-Sahoul area of Al-Makhader District, Ibb Governorate, which killed civilians, including women and children, on August 9, 2016.
It discussed the details of the crime and witness testimonies, as well as the legal framework of the crime according to international laws and conventions. The report relied on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims, as well as interviews conducted with witnesses. International law, treaties, and agreements were also consulted to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against the women and children of the Al-Sahoul area.
