Statement of Condemnation Regarding the Continued Crimes of the Israeli Zionist Occupation and its Flagrant Violation of the Ceasefire Resolution Against Civilians in Southern Lebanon

The Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights condemns in the strongest terms the continued Israeli Zionist aggression and its criminal escalation against the Lebanese people, which constitutes a blatant and flagrant violation of the ceasefire resolution and related international agreements.

The Israeli enemy has once again demonstrated its disregard for international obligations, as it carried out bombings in southern Lebanon in recent hours, completely disregarding the ceasefire resolution. This deliberate bombing of villages, homes, and civilians, especially women and children, has resulted in horrific crimes.

These actions are a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and Lebanese sovereignty, and confirm the Zionist entity’s deliberate continuation of genocide and bloody escalation despite the existence of an international resolution or ceasefire agreement, thus revealing the brutal behavior of its terrorist army.

The Entesaf Organization affirms that targeting civilians and civilian sites after the ceasefire resolution came into effect constitutes a double criminal escalation and a grave violation that adds to its record of war crimes and crimes against humanity. The violation of this resolution confirms the deliberate violation by the Zionist Israeli occupation forces of international humanitarian law and its fundamental principles (humanity, distinction, proportionality), as well as Security Council resolutions (such as Resolution 1701) and agreements calling for calm and the protection of civilians.

The Entesaf Organization holds the Zionist Israeli occupation forces fully responsible for all the crimes committed and for violating the ceasefire agreement. It also holds the United Nations, the Security Council, and Muslim and Arab states responsible for their shameful silence and failure to compel the occupation to abide by the ceasefire resolution, which has emboldened it to continue killing innocent civilians.

The organization calls upon the international community and the International Court of Justice to open an immediate investigation and criminal prosecution to punish those involved in these crimes and in violating the ceasefire resolution. It further calls upon the Security Council to exert maximum pressure and fulfill its legal and moral obligation to enforce respect for the resolution and to take the necessary measures to ensure an immediate and permanent cessation of aggression and the protection of civilians in Lebanese territory.
