It said Ambassador Mike Waltz’s statement was an attempt to absolve Israel of responsibility for the blockade and the ongoing starvation of civilians.

The office added that restricting truck entries violates the ceasefire terms and reflects a deliberate policy of economic strangulation that keeps Gaza on the edge of famine, noting that Israel continues to block dozens of essential items, including basic food and medical supplies.
