United Nations: More than 500 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire agreement.
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres stated on Tuesday that more than 500 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire agreement reached last October.
In a post on the “X” platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Guterres called for the full implementation of the agreement, adherence to international law, and the unimpeded and widespread delivery of humanitarian aid.
Earlier that day, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli fire since the ceasefire on October 10 had reached 529, with 1,462 injuries, in flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement.
The ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip came into effect on October 10, following a two-year Israeli offensive. However, the Israeli army continues to violate the agreement daily and still prevents the entry of most humanitarian aid into the Strip.
