Palestinian civilian killed as Israeli shelling intensifies in Gaza Strip
A Palestinian citizen was killed on Saturday, succumbing to wounds sustained in a previous Israeli shelling that targeted the Zeitoun neighborhood east of Gaza City. Meanwhile, Israeli forces continued their artillery bombardment and gunfire on various areas of the Gaza Strip.
The Safa news agency reported the death of Suhail Ramadan Hajji, noting that Israeli forces fired flares over the Zeitoun neighborhood, coinciding with heavy artillery shelling and tank fire east of the neighborhood.
In Khan Younis, Israeli forces intensified tank fire east of the town of Qarara, northeast of the city, while simultaneously shelling and gunfire from military vehicles targeted the eastern and southern areas of the governorate.

Israeli military vehicles also continued their incursions and bulldozing operations in the Abu al-Ajeen area, southeast of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip. The ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip came into effect on October 10, 2015, after a two-year-long Zionist war of genocide. However, the Israeli enemy army continues to violate the agreement daily.
