20-Year-Old Woman Giving Birth Triplets by A successful Caesarean Section

Last Tuesday, a medical team at 22 May Teaching Hospital in Dhala’ Hamedan District in Sana’a Governorate succeeded in delivering triplets to a 20-year-old woman through a successful caesarean section.

The consultant of obstetrics and gynecology, and the leader of the medical team that performed the operation, Dr. Sana Al-Qubati, said in a statement that the three newborns are “females” in their ninth month, and each newborn weighs about one kilogram.

Dr. Al-Qubati explained that the birth process took a normal time, and that the mother and children were in good health.

She indicated that the woman’s birth is her first, and that the triplets were admitted to the nursery for care, observation and respiratory treatment, to prevent the entry of newborns into complications of suffocation and lack of oxygen after birth.
