Entisaf Organization Condemns the Killing of 44 People and the Wounding of 38 Including 24 Women and Children Due to Saudi Aggression

Entisaf Organization for Women and Child Rights condemns, in the strongest terms, the ongoing crimes committed by the Saudi-led aggression against civilians across several Yemeni governorates. These actions involve attacks on lives and property that constitute a flagrant violation of the rules of international humanitarian law and international conventions guaranteeing the protection of civilians, particularly women and children.

According to recent announcements by the Ministry of Health, attacks by the Saudi-led aggression have resulted in 44 deaths—including five children and three women—and 38 injuries—including 11 children and five women—across the governorates of Al-Jawf, Al-Hudaydah, Taiz, Sa’dah, Sana’a, and Hajjah.

The organization emphasizes that these figures reveal the scale of human casualties suffered by civilians due to the ongoing aggression. Women and children account for 24 of the total casualties (16 children and eight women), reflecting the severe impact these attacks have on the most vulnerable groups, as well as on families and society as a whole.

Entisaf Organization stresses that the continued toll on civilian lives represents a grave violation of international humanitarian law—specifically the principles of distinction, proportionality, and precaution in attacks—which mandate the protection of civilians and require that they be spared the effects of military operations.

The organization also warns of the cumulative humanitarian, psychological, and social repercussions of these crimes on women and children, given the persistent danger to civilians and the resulting suffering, loss of family members, and threats to societal security and stability. Entesaf Organization holds the Saudi-led aggression responsible for these crimes and the resulting casualties, losses, and human suffering. It calls upon the international community, the United Nations, and human rights and humanitarian organizations to fulfill their legal and humanitarian obligations, and to work earnestly to halt these violations and ensure the protection of civilians.

The organization reiterates its demand for independent and transparent investigations into all violations committed against civilians, ensuring accountability for those responsible, preventing impunity for perpetrators of grave violations of international humanitarian law, and securing justice and reparation for the victims.
