Saudi armed spy plane downed in Hajjah
The air defenses shot down an armed spy plane of the Saudi Air Force while it was violating the armistice in the airspace of Hajjah province on Saturday.
The official spokesman for the armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, explained in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency that the air defenses managed to shoot down a Turkish-made spy plane of “Karyal” type belonging to the Saudi Air Force while it was carrying out hostile missions in the airspace of Hiran area in Hajjah this morning.
He pointed out that the targeting process was carried out with a locally made surface-to-air missile, which has not been disclosed yet.
Brigadier General Sarie affirmed that the armed forces are present and ready to respond to any breach or aggression by the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition forces.
He pointed out that such attacks confirm the aggression coalition’s lack of commitment to the armistice.
