Urgent Official Statement from the Ministry of Health and Environment – Sana’a
The Ministry of Health and Environment announces that the toll of victims of the Saudi-led aggression, from the beginning of the escalation up to October 30, 2026, has reached tragic figures that underscore the scale of the grave violations committed against the Yemeni people:
• Martyrs (killed): 232 civilians, including 68 children and 35 women.
• Wounded: 536 civilians, including 137 children and 72 women.
• Total: 768 civilian casualties (killed and wounded) since the onset of the escalation.
The figures, broken down by governorate, are as follows:
• Taiz: 279 (killed and wounded)
• Saada: 166 (killed and wounded)
• Al-Jawf: 114 (killed and wounded)
• Sana’a: 58 (killed and wounded)
• Al-Hudaydah: 47 (killed and wounded)
In addition to dozens of others killed or wounded across the remaining governorates.
The Ministry asserts that these figures reflect systematic war crimes against civilians, pointing to the direct targeting of children and women—a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law. The Ministry calls upon the international community, as well as human rights and humanitarian organizations, to uphold their legal and moral responsibilities and to take urgent action to halt the aggression and hold its perpetrators accountable.
