Since Saudi Arabia announced the formation of its aggressive coalition on Yemen, and start its first military operations in Yemen on March 26, 2015.

Thousands of indiscriminate air raids and the use of internationally banned cluster munitions have killed and injured thousands of civilians, most of whom are children, and have almost completely paralyzed all aspects of life.

It imposed an air, land and sea blockade, and prevented the entry of goods, basic foodstuffs, medical supplies, oil derivatives, and humanitarian and relief aid, which aggravated the humanitarian situation and left millions of people threatened with starvation, and hundreds of thousands of them died due to food and health insecurity.
