Human Rights Minister Reviews With OHCHR Human Rights Violations In Yemen

Minister of Human Rights, Ali Hussein Al-Dailami, discussed on Wednesday in Sanaa with the Human Rights Officer at the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Safeer Al-Din, issues of human rights in Yemen in light of the continued aggression and siege.

 

In the meeting, examples of the ongoing crimes and violations committed by the Saudi-led coalition against civilians, especially women and children, in addition to the suffering of the Yemeni people as a result of the blockade were reviewed.

 

The meeting touched on the efforts of the Ministry of Human Rights in preparing a mechanism for monitoring and documenting crimes and violations, and how to benefit from the experiences and expertise of the OHCHR in this aspect.
