Again 6.4-magnitude earthquake hits southern Turkey

The Turkish Disaster Management Authority confirmed Monday evening, that a new earthquake measuring 6.4 degrees had been recorded in the Hatay region in southern Turkey.

And according to what Reuters quoted eyewitnesses as saying, the Hatay earthquake caused the collapse of some buildings in the region. Residents of Syria, Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan also felt the tremor.

The new tremor comes two weeks after a violent earthquake occurred in Kahramanmaraş near Hatay, which killed tens of thousands of people in Turkey and Syria.
