Insan organization condemns kidnapping Omani traveler Al-Shuraiqi at mercenary security point in Marib

Insan Organization for Rights and Liberties condemned the exposure of the Omani traveler, Harith bin Mansour Al-Shariqi, to a kidnapping at one of the security points in the areas controlled by Marib’s mercenaries.

The organization indicated in a statement – received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) – that the areas controlled by the so-called “Presidential Command Council” in Marib are suffering from security chaos, as kidnapping and murder of travelers have spread, and what has recently happened is the kidnapping of foreigners belonging to a medical organization. no limits.

Insan Organization called on the authorities responsible for the kidnapping to quickly release the kidnapped person unconditionally, and the so-called Presidential Leadership Council bears responsibility for the safety of the Omani traveler, and to arrest the perpetrators of the crime and bring them to justice.

It pointed out that this incident raises great concern for travelers from these areas, stressing the need to be careful and take the necessary security measures when traveling through these areas.

It is noteworthy that the Omani traveler was kidnapped during an exploratory trip to Yemen, in which he documented the picturesque landscapes, historical and tourist attractions, and conveyed the authenticity of the social and cultural life of the Yemenis.
