Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms , in collaboration with 255 organizations and human rights networks consisting of over 1,300 organizations dedicated to various aspects of human rights, has issued a statement calling on the International Court.

The Israeli occupation state has persistently committed international crimes against the Palestinian people. With every aggression launched by the occupying entity, facilitated and colluded by the leaders of the global imperial center, particularly the leaders of the United States and the United Kingdom, the entity, including its leaders, soldiers, and settlers, spares no effort in committing war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Palestinian people and the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip. Since October 7th of the current year, the occupying entity, with the complicity and facilitation of leaders from several Western countries, has been waging a described genocidal war, and the deliberate targeting of the hospital is just one episode in its carefully planned and systematic series of crimes.

In light of the ongoing genocide against the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip, who are part of our Palestinian people, and in light of the failure of all efforts made over the years to utilize the prosecution mechanism established by the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court for various reasons that cannot be mentioned here, we call for employing the available legal means in accordance with the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide of 1948 and the practical and judicial actions related to it. It is worth noting that the occupying entity, as well as a considerable number of Arab countries, are parties to the Convention and have not made reservations on the jurisdiction granted to the International Court of Justice in Article 9 of the Convention, in which the parties recognize the competence of the Court to hear disputes between the parties concerning the interpretation, application, or implementation of the Convention, including disputes relating to the responsibility of a state for genocide, conspiracy, or incitement to commit it.

Considering that the criminal acts committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip involve intentionally subjecting the population of the Gaza Strip to living conditions aimed at the complete or partial destruction of the Palestinian population in a systematic and organized manner that reflects a general pattern, we demand the following:

First: Any party to the aforementioned Convention, especially Arab and Islamic parties, should request an urgent order from the International Court of Justice to demand that the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime cease its criminal activities in the Gaza Strip.

Second: Filing a lawsuit against the Israeli occupation and any state that has contributed to and colluded with it in committing genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, holding them internationally accountable for those acts.

Third: States should take countermeasures against the occupying entity and those who colluded with or facilitated its commission of genocide in the Gaza Strip, including economic boycott, severing diplomatic relations, and refusing to recognize any realistic situations that may arise from these criminal acts.
