Israel targeted civilians heading to the south of Gaza

The Ministry of Interior Affairs in Gaza issued a statement on its Telegram account regarding the matter.

The statement used the expression: “As a result of the Israeli occupying forces targeting displaced civilians heading to the south of the Gaza Strip near the Gaza Valley, there are casualties and injuries.”

Israel had called for the evacuation of more than a million people in the northern Gaza Strip and claimed the existence of “security corridors” for the passage of the displaced.

However, Palestinian officials announced that there were no security corridors or safe areas in the Gaza Strip, and that the Israeli army continued its attacks on civilians, including hospitals.

Attack on school: At least 20 dead

The director of Shifa Hospital in Gaza also stated in a release that Israel had attacked a school in the city.

At least 20 people lost their lives in the attack.
