“Markets whose trade is ashes and body parts”

Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights documented a human rights report entitled “Markets whose trade is ashes and body parts.” The report dealt with the crime committed by the aggression coalition aircraft against civilians in the Khalqa market in Nihm District, Sana’a Governorate, which claimed the lives of civilians, including women and children, on February 27, 2017.

 

It talked about the details of the crime and witness statements, also talked about the legal framework of the crime in accordance with international laws and conventions.

The report was based on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims. It also relied on interviews conducted with witnesses, and reference was made to international texts of law, treaties and conventions. In order to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against women and children in the Khalqa market area.
