“Catastrophe Camps”
Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights documented a human rights report entitled “Catastrophe Camps”, which addressed the crime of the aggression coalition’s airstrikes on the camps for the displaced in the Al-Sahoul area in the Al-Makhader district of Ibb Governorate, which claimed the lives of civilians, including women and children, on August 9, 2016.
It discussed the details of the crime and witness statements, as well as the legal framework of the crime according to international laws and conventions. The report relied on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims, and relied on interviews conducted with witnesses. International law texts, treaties and agreements were referred to in order to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against women and children in the Al-Sahoul area.
