“Targeting Report on the Village of Mahwa Al-Khalisi, Hodeidah”

Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights issued a human rights report entitled “Targeting Report on the Village of Mahwa Al-Khalisi, Hodeidah”, in which the report addressed the crime of the aggression coalition’s airstrike on the village of Mahwa Al-Khalisi in At Tuhayat District, Hodeidah Governorate, which claimed the lives of civilians, including women and children, on July 29, 2018.

It discussed the details of the crime and witness statements, as well as the legal framework of the crime according to international laws and conventions. The report was based on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims, and relied on interviews conducted with witnesses. International law texts, treaties and agreements were referred to in order to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against women and children in the Mahwa Al-Khalisi area.
