“Extermination of the Poor”
In a legal report entitled “Extermination of the Poor”, Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights documented the crime of bombing by the coalition aircraft on civilians in a popular market in the Beit Al-Faqih area in the Beit Al-Faqih district of Al-Hodeidah Governorate, which claimed the lives of civilians, including women and children, on August 25, 2015.
The report discussed the details of the crime and witness statements, as well as the legal framework of the crime according to international laws and conventions.
The report relied on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims, and relied on interviews conducted with witnesses. International law texts, treaties and agreements were referred to in order to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against women and children in the Beit Al-Faqih area.
