Entesaf Organization issues a human rights report entitled “Report on targeting the home of citizen Yahya Haj Bakri”

Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights issued a human rights report entitled “Report on targeting the home of citizen Yahya Haj Bakri”, which addressed the crime of bombing by the coalition’s air force and ground forces on the home of citizen Yahya Haj Bakri in the Al-Atan area in Bakil Al-Mir District, Hajjah Governorate, which claimed the lives of civilians, including women and children, on August 22, 2018.

It discussed the details of the crime and witness statements, as well as the legal framework of the crime according to international laws and conventions.

The report was based on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims, and relied on interviews conducted with witnesses. International law texts, treaties and agreements were referred to in order to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against women and children in the Al-Atan area.
