“The Joy of the Brides and the Treachery of the Aggressor”
Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights documented in a human rights report entitled “The Joy of the Brides and the Treachery of the Aggressor” the report dealt with the crime committed by the aggression coalition aircraft on a wedding in Wahijah in the Dhubab District of Taiz Governorate, which claimed the lives of civilians, including women and children, on September 28, 2015.
The report discussed the details of the crime and witness statements, as well as the legal framework of the crime according to international laws and conventions. The report relied on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims, and relied on interviews conducted with witnesses. International law texts, treaties and agreements were referred to in order to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against women and children in the Wahijah region.
