UN condemns unimaginable atrocities against women in Ethiopia

After returning from a trip to Ethiopia that included several conflict areas there, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Amina Mohamed denounced the “unimaginable” atrocities experienced by women in particular, calling for justice for them. The UN official said at a conference, “Ethiopian women have been greatly affected, in an unimaginable way,” adding, “In your worst nightmares, you cannot imagine what happened to women in Ethiopia.” .
