Statement of condemnation/ #Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights regarding the killing of citizen Saif Mahmoud Faraj Al-Sharabi in #Taiz Governorate
Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights condemns the crime of killing citizen Saif Mahmoud Faraj Al-Sharabi in the Al-Masbah neighborhood in Taiz Governorate, at the hands of one of the armed militia members Walid Kamel, nicknamed Sha’la, where citizen Saif Al-Sharabi was killed in front of his wife and daughters in defense of his honor and dignity, while the killer is still free and the security services in Taiz Governorate failed to arrest him because he was taking refuge with military leaders after more than a week had passed since the crime
The organization also condemns this heinous and hideous crime that is rejected by Sharia, custom and law, as the crime of threatening and killing is a serious violation of international humanitarian law, which criminalizes the targeting of innocent civilians in any way, and confirms the mercenaries’ reliance on violating the principles and rules of international humanitarian law, including the principle of humanity, the principle of distinction and the principle of proportionality, which made these crimes amount to crimes against humanity and an extension of the series of war crimes and genocide that The Saudi aggression coalition and its mercenaries are committing crimes for the ninth consecutive year in Yemen.
The statement condemned the continued aggression coalition led by America, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and their paid mercenaries in committing the most heinous crimes and violations against the Yemeni people, and what armed groups supported and paid by the aggression are committing against citizens in the areas under their control and the heinous crimes and violations they are practicing against them.
#Entesaf Organization holds the Saudi aggression coalition and its mercenaries fully responsible for all crimes targeting civilians, whether through systematic military operations, the suffocating siege, or the closure of Sana’a airport, and demands an investigation and criminal accountability for the coalition leaders and all those proven to be involved in these crimes. It also holds the United Nations and the Security Council responsible for their shameful silence and evasion of their duties, which encouraged the Saudi coalition to continue committing more war crimes against civilians in Yemen.
It renews its appeal to the international community, human rights and humanitarian organizations, and all honorable and free people of the world to assume their moral and humanitarian responsibilities in supporting the oppressed Yemeni people, lifting the siege, opening Sana’a airport, condemning the horrific crimes committed by the Saudi coalition, and pressuring the United Nations, specifically the Security Council, to carry out their legal and moral duty to protect civilians and stop the war and all forms of aggression. We also renew our call to form an impartial international investigation committee to investigate all crimes and massacres committed by the mercenaries of the coalition countries against defenseless civilians.
