Entesaf Organization issues a human rights report entitled “A Shepherd’s Bomb”
Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights issued a human rights report entitled “A Shepherd’s Bomb”, in which the report addressed the crime of a cluster bomb explosion from the remnants of the aggression coalition’s aircraft in a civilian house in the Azqul area in Sahar District, Saada Governorate, which killed civilians, including women and children, on January 14, 2018.
It discussed the details of the crime and witness statements, as well as the legal framework of the crime according to international laws and conventions. The report was based on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims, and relied on interviews conducted with witnesses. International law texts, treaties and agreements were referred to in order to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against women and children in the Azqul area.
