“Markets whose trade is ashes and remains”
Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights documented a human rights report entitled “Markets whose trade is ashes and remains”, in which the report addressed the crime committed by the aggression coalition aircraft against civilians in the Al-Khalqa market in the Nehm district of Sana’a governorate, which claimed the lives of civilians, including women and children, on February 27, 2017.
It talked about the details of the crime and witness statements, as well as the legal framework of the crime according to international laws and conventions. The report relied on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims, and relied on interviews conducted with witnesses. International law texts, treaties and agreements were referred to in order to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against women and children in the Al-Khalqa market area.
