Statement by the #Entesaf Organization condemning the US aggression’s targeting of several Yemeni cities (Dhamar – Ibb)
We condemn and denounce in the strongest terms the continued crimes of the US aggression against the Yemeni people through its deliberate bombing of civilians and civilian objects. Several Yemeni cities (Dhamar – Ibb) were bombed on the evening of this Tuesday, April 8, 2025. The targeting resulted in (3) injuries among the guards and workers of the targeted farm in Dhamar Governorate, and the destruction of a communications network in the Al-Shamhi area in the Ba’dan District of Ibb Governorate.
The targeting constitutes a gross violation of international humanitarian law, which criminalizes the targeting of innocent civilians in any way. It also confirms the deliberate violation by the US aggression forces of the principles and rules of international humanitarian law, including the principles of humanity, the principles of distinction, and the principles of proportionality. This has made these crimes amount to crimes against humanity and an extension of the series of war crimes and genocide committed by the aggression coalition against Yemen over the past ten years.
We hold America responsible for all crimes committed against civilians, and we demand an investigation. Criminal accountability for all those proven to be involved in these crimes. We also hold the United Nations and the Security Council responsible for their shameful silence and shirking of their duties, which has encouraged the United States to continue committing more war crimes against civilians in Yemen.
We renew our appeal to the international community, human rights and humanitarian organizations, and all honorable and free people around the world to assume their moral and humanitarian responsibilities in supporting the oppressed Yemeni people, condemning the horrific crimes committed by the US aggression, and pressuring the United Nations, specifically the Security Council, to fulfill their legal and moral duty to protect civilians and stop the war and all forms of aggression. We also renew our call for the formation of an impartial international investigation committee to investigate all crimes and massacres committed by US forces against defenseless civilians.
