“Death Neighborhood”
Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights documented a human rights report titled “Death Neighborhood.” The report addressed the bombing by the coalition’s air force on a residential neighborhood in the Sirwah district of Ma’rib Governorate, which killed civilians, including women and children, on April 11, 2015.
It discussed the details of the crime and witness testimonies, as well as the legal framework of the crime according to international laws and conventions. The report relied on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims, as well as interviews conducted with witnesses. International law, treaties, and agreements were also consulted to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against the women and children of the Sirwah area.
