Statement by the #Entesaf Organization condemning the Saudi-American aggression’s targeting of a house in the Al Thabet area of the Qataber district of Sa’ada Governorate

We condemn and denounce in the strongest terms the continued crimes of the Saudi-American aggression against the Yemeni people through its deliberate bombing of civilians and civilian objects. The attack targeted a citizen’s home, killing three children and a woman in the Al Thabet area of the Qataber district of Sa’ada Governorate on Monday, April 14, 2025.

This targeting constitutes a grave violation of international humanitarian law, which criminalizes the targeting of innocent civilians in any form. It also confirms the deliberate violation by the Saudi-American aggression forces of the principles and rules of international humanitarian law, including the principles of humanity, distinction, and proportionality. This has made these crimes amount to crimes against humanity and an extension of the series of war crimes and genocide committed by the aggression coalition against Yemen over the past ten years.

We hold Saudi Arabia and its allies responsible for all crimes committed against civilians, and we demand an investigation and criminal accountability for all those proven to be involved in these crimes. We also hold the United Nations and the Security Council responsible for their shameful silence and shirking of their duties, which has encouraged Saudi Arabia and its allies to continue committing further war crimes against civilians in Yemen.

We renew our appeal to the international community, human rights and humanitarian organizations, and all honorable and free people of the world to assume their moral and humanitarian responsibilities in supporting the oppressed Yemeni people, condemning the horrific crimes committed by the Saudi-American aggression, and pressuring the United Nations, specifically the Security Council, to fulfill their legal and moral duty to protect civilians and stop the war and all forms of aggression. We also renew our call for the formation of an impartial international investigation committee to investigate all crimes and massacres committed by Saudi forces and their allies against unarmed civilians.
