“Shopper Victims”
Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights documented a human rights report titled “Shopper Victims.” The report addressed the bombing of Haradh markets by the coalition’s air force in the market area of Hajjah city, Hajjah Governorate, on April 20, 2015, which claimed the lives of civilians, including women and children.
It discussed the details of the crime and witness testimonies, as well as the legal framework of the crime according to international laws and conventions. The report relied on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims, as well as interviews conducted with witnesses. International law, treaties, and agreements were also consulted to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against women and children in the market area.
