Gaza: 9 martyrs and wounded in ongoing Israeli shelling

Nine Palestinian civilians have been killed and others injured since dawn on Sunday in the ongoing Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip. The humanitarian catastrophe is worsening, with fuel supplies still banned and aid scarce, amid warnings of a growing threat of famine.

The WAFA news agency reported that at least five civilians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a two-story residential house in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.

Two civilians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Amoudi family home west of Khan Yunis.

One person was killed and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a tent housing displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis.

Medical sources reported that 52 civilians, the majority of them children and women, were killed in the past 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas of the Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has been committing genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 176,000 civilians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands displaced.
