“Ruins of a Village”
Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights documented a human rights report titled “Ruins of a Village.” The report addressed the bombing by the coalition’s air force on the village of Bani Sayyah in the Razih district of Saada Governorate, which killed civilians, including women and children, on June 5, 2015.
It discussed the details of the crime and witness testimonies, as well as the legal framework of the crime according to international laws and conventions. The report relied on the organization’s statistics regarding the details of the crime and the number of victims, as well as interviews conducted with witnesses. International law, treaties, and agreements were also consulted to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against the women and children of the Bani Sayyah area.
