Six killed as Ukrainian forces hit a hospital in Donetsk Republic
Six persons were killed on Sunday morning as Ukrainian forces targeted a hospital in Volnovakha, Donetsk People’s Republic, with tank shells and rocket launchers.
The Ukrainian forces bombed the hospital, then they used the patients, including women, as human shields, and after leaving the hospital, they planted mines in the buildings there, Russian RIA Novosti Agency correspondent, who filmed the event said.
He added that the Volnovakha Central Hospital building was seriously damaged
In turn, the hospital’s staff said that the bodies of 6 patients were recovered from inside the hospital, while rubble removal work is underway.
On Saturday, Russian Defense Ministry affirmed that the Ukrainian authorities have violated agreements related the humanitarian corridors and rejected to evacuate civilians to Russia, warning of the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Ukraine.
