15 Palestinians Die of Hunger in 24 Hours as Famine Deaths Cross 100 in Gaza
The Ministry of Health confirmed today that 15 more Palestinians, including four children, died in the past 24 hours due to hunger and severe malnutrition. The total number of famine-related deaths has now reached 101, including 80 children.
These deaths are the result of Israel’s ongoing siege on Gaza, which has blocked food, water, and medical supplies for months.
Emergency rooms are overwhelmed with starving patients. The Health Ministry warned that large numbers of Palestinians of all ages are arriving in a state of extreme fatigue and collapse. “Hundreds are close to death,” the Ministry said, “as their bodies can no longer withstand the lack of food.”
At the same time, Israeli airstrikes continue to target civilian areas. In the last 24 hours, 77 more people were killed, including five recovered from under the rubble. At least 376 others were injured and taken to hospitals.
Since March 18, 2025, Israeli attacks have killed 8,268 Palestinians and wounded 30,470 more. Many victims remain trapped under the debris or lying in the streets. Ambulance and civil defense teams cannot reach them due to the constant bombardment.
The overall toll since October 7, 2023, now stands at 59,106 people killed in Gaza. The number of wounded has reached 142,511, the majority of them women and children.
Israel has also continued to bomb aid distribution points. In the past 24 hours, five civilians were killed and more than 52 injured near these sites. The total death toll from such attacks has now reached 1,026, with 6,563 others injured.
The Ministry of Health condemned the ongoing war, describing it as a genocide. Backed by the United States, Israel has carried out mass killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement in Gaza, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.
More than 200,000 Palestinians have been killed or wounded. Over 11,000 are still missing. Most of the victims are children and women. Hundreds of thousands are displaced. Starvation is claiming more lives each day, while much of Gaza lies in ruins.
The Health Ministry urged the international community to act before the situation worsens further.
