Renewed Israeli aggression against civilians, civilian facilities, and service facilities in the capital, Sana’a, and several Yemeni cities (Al-Jawf and Amran).

We condemn and denounce in the strongest terms the continued crimes of the Israeli aggression against the Yemeni people through its deliberate bombing of civilians and civilian and service facilities in the capital, Sana’a, and several Yemeni cities. This airstrike targeted the health sector’s medical station on 60th Street, southwest of the capital, the Moral Guidance Office in the capital, Sana’a, and the newspapers “26 September” and “Al-Yaman.” Journalists, citizens, and passersby were killed and wounded. The government complex in Al-Jawf Governorate, in addition to densely populated neighborhoods in the city, was also targeted, resulting in nine deaths and 118 injuries, according to the preliminary toll of the Israeli aggression on the capital, Sana’a, and Al-Jawf Governorate.

This targeting of civilians, civilian facilities, and service facilities constitutes a grave violation of international humanitarian law, which criminalizes their targeting in any form. It also confirms the Israeli enemy forces’ deliberate violation of the principles and rules of international humanitarian law, including the principles of humanity, distinction, and proportionality. These crimes constitute crimes against humanity and are an extension of the series of war crimes and genocide committed by the aggression coalition against Yemen for more than ten years.

We hold Israel responsible for all crimes committed against civilians, and we demand the investigation and criminal accountability of all those proven to be involved in these crimes. We also hold the United Nations and the Security Council responsible for their shameful silence and shirking of their duties, which has encouraged Israel to continue committing further war crimes against civilians in Yemen.
