Saudi-American Aggression Coalition Crimes Against Children in Saada Governorate
Saudi-American Aggression Coalition Crimes Against Children in Saada Governorate
We condemn and denounce in the strongest terms the continued crimes and massacres committed by the Saudi-American Aggression Coalition against the Yemeni people through its deliberate bombing of civilians and civilian objects. Three children were injured by the explosion of an unexploded ordnance (UXO) in the Al Sheikh area of the Munabbih District of Saada Governorate on Friday, September 19, 2025.
This targeting constitutes a grave violation of international humanitarian law, which criminalizes the targeting of innocent civilians in any form. It also confirms the deliberate violation by the Saudi-American aggression forces of the principles and rules of international humanitarian law, including the principles of humanity, distinction, and proportionality. This has made these crimes amount to crimes against humanity and an extension of the series of war crimes and genocide committed by the aggression coalition against Yemen for more than ten years.
We hold America, Saudi Arabia, and their coalition responsible for all crimes committed against civilians, and we demand an investigation and criminal accountability for all those proven to be involved in these crimes. We also hold the United Nations and the Security Council responsible for their shameful silence and shirking of their duties, which has encouraged America and Saudi Arabia to continue committing further war crimes against civilians in Yemen.
