Ministry of Health Condemns the Crimes of Aggression in Hodeidah

The Ministry of Public Health and Population on Sunday condemned the crime of targeting health facilities by the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition in Hodeida province, which caused the injury of civilians and the destruction of medical facilities.

The Ministry of Health, in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), denounced the targeting of Mukrram health center on Kamaran Island by the aggression coalition warplanes, which led to the injury of ten civilians in a preliminary statistic, as well as bombing the drug stores of Al-Aqsa Specialist Hospital in the July 7th neighborhood, which led to its destruction and damage to civilian objects, including al-Tahrir Medical Center.

The statement considered this targeting a grave violation of international and humanitarian law, which aggravates the suffering of the Yemeni people.

The Ministry held the United Nations and the Security Council fully responsible for the crimes of the aggression coalition against Yemen, in the forefront of targeting health facilities because of their silence and repudiation of their duties.
