Civil Aviation’s Spokesman Says Bombing Sanaa Airport Represents Direct Targeting Of Humanitarian Aid

Spokesman for Civil Aviation and Meteorology, Dr. Mazen Ghanem, said on “that bombing Sanaa International Airport represents a direct target of the humanitarian and relief aid that would exacerbate the suffering of the Yemeni people.

The spokesman affirmed, in a press statement, that the Saudi-led coalition’s countries must lift the ban on the airport to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people instead of destroying its infrastructure that serves the air navigation of the United Nations and international humanitarian organizations operating in Yemen.

The statement called for an international investigation to be opened to expose the coalition countries’ violations and siege of airports, and to demand the Civil Aviation Organization to assume its responsibilities towards the illegal ban on the airports.

The spokesman also called on the international community and the United Nations to condemn and stop the systematic aggressive target of the coalition countries, which aims to destroy Sanaa International Airport.

He called on the free people of the world to go out in protest rallies in various countries of the world to stand up to the grievances of the Yemeni people and to expose the crimes and violations committed by the coalition countries against civilians and infrastructure in Yemen.
