Entesaf Organization issues a new human rights report entitled “Woman in the Face of Tyranny”
The Entesaf Organization for Women and Children’s Rights issued a new human rights report today entitled “A Woman in the Face of Tyranny.”
The report documents the crime of running over and killing citizen Hadiya Sultan by mercenaries of the aggression in the Al-Afirah area of Maqbanah District in Taiz Governorate.
The organization explained in its report that the crime occurred on June 7, 2018, and directly targeted citizen Hadiya Sultan, resulting in her being run over and killed by a vehicle belonging to the mercenaries of the aggression.
The report includes detailed documentation of the crime, based on interviews conducted with witnesses.
The organization indicated that it consulted international laws, treaties, and conventions to clarify the legal framework of the crime committed against the woman in the Al-Afirah area, emphasizing that the deliberate killing and running over constitutes a grave violation of international humanitarian law.
The organization considered the report as further evidence documenting the systematic targeting of civilians, especially women and children, in the occupied territories, and called on the international community and human rights bodies to take immediate action to ensure accountability and justice for the victims.
