Statement of Condemnation Regarding the Rising Death Toll of the Israeli Aggression on Lebanon to 2,055 Killed and 6,588 Wounded Since March 2nd

The  organization for Women and Children’s Rights condemns in the strongest terms the continued series of brutal crimes committed by the Israeli occupation army against the Lebanese people. The death toll from the Israeli aggression in Lebanon has risen to 2,055 killed and 6,588 wounded since March 2nd.

It affirms that this barbaric escalation and the targeting of purely civilian objects constitute a flagrant violation of Lebanese sovereignty and international humanitarian law. It is a fully-fledged war crime that contravenes the principles of humanity, distinction, and proportionality, revealing a systematic terrorist behavior aimed at genocide and forced displacement, directly targeting the most vulnerable groups: women and children.

The Entesaf Organization holds the occupying forces fully responsible for these crimes and the targeting of medical facilities and ambulance crews. It places the international community, the Security Council, and Arab and Islamic states before their historical responsibilities, considering that “international silence” is the primary factor encouraging the occupation to persist in its arrogance.

The organization calls on the International Criminal Court to open an immediate and urgent investigation to prosecute the occupation leaders as war criminals and demands that the United Nations exert real pressure to stop the deliberate aggression and protect civilians in accordance with international conventions.

The organization calls on all human rights organizations and free peoples to intensify their solidarity with the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples to break the siege of silence and injustice.
