Gaza Health Ministry: 26 patients, 46 companions leave through Rafah crossing for treatment abroad
The Gaza Health Ministry announced that 26 patients, accompanied by 46 companions, left this morning, Sunday, through the Rafah land crossing to continue their medical treatment in hospitals outside the Gaza Strip.
In a statement seen by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the ministry explained that the Medical Referrals Committee is continuing its intensive efforts in managing and monitoring patient travel, in addition to ongoing coordination with relevant authorities to facilitate the departure procedures for cases requiring treatment outside the Strip.
The ministry emphasized that a large number of patients and wounded individuals are still waiting for permission to travel for treatment.
The ministry reiterated its call to expedite their departure procedures to ensure they receive the necessary medical care in a timely manner and to uphold their right to treatment and life.
