Statement of Condemnation on the Occasion of 1,000 Days of Genocide in the Gaza Strip
The Entesaf Organization for Women’s and Children’s Rights strongly and unequivocally condemns the ongoing crimes of genocide being committed by the Israeli occupation against civilians in the Gaza Strip. This comes as the world marks 1,000 continuous days of aggression, which has resulted in an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and a lasting stain on human history, amid shameful international silence and a clear failure to stop the crimes or hold perpetrators accountable.
Over the course of 1,000 days, Gaza has been transformed into a scene of systematic crimes targeting people, land, and all essential components of life.
Tens of thousands of civilians—most of them women and children—have been killed, and vast numbers have been injured or left with permanent disabilities. Homes, hospitals, schools, shelters, and infrastructure have been destroyed, while siege, starvation policies, and deprivation of water, medicine, and food have been imposed in blatant violation of all rules of international humanitarian law and international human rights law.
The passage of 1,000 days without an end to the aggression or genuine accountability for perpetrators exposes the extent of the moral and legal failure of the international community, and confirms that a policy of impunity has become a cover for the continued commission of war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Palestinian people.
Entesaf Organization affirms that the repeated targeting of children and women, the bombing of residential areas, forced displacement, and the use of starvation and siege as weapons against civilians constitute grave violations that require urgent international action to end these crimes and ensure that perpetrators do not escape justice.
The organization calls on the United Nations, the Security Council, and all international, human rights, and humanitarian organizations to assume their legal and moral responsibilities and to act immediately to stop the aggression, ensure international protection for civilians, lift the siege, allow unrestricted humanitarian aid, and hold all those responsible for war crimes and crimes against humanity accountable, while ensuring justice for the victims.
Entesaf Organization reiterates its full solidarity with the Palestinian people, emphasizing that the blood of children and women are not mere numbers in reports, but lives taken before the eyes of the world. Continued silence in the face of these crimes constitutes a renunciation of humanitarian principles and justice and threatens the credibility of the entire international system.
